David and Gladys Lloyd Currence of Valley Head celebrated 55 years of marriage Sept. 25, 2024. They were married on Sept. 25, 1969 in Monterey, Virginia, and had five children, Gladys, David, Matthew, Donna and Kathleen. They enjoyed a small celebration at home with family.
